    In 06 they replaced the plastic centurion card with a metal one. What does the back of this card look like? How is the magnetic strip held in there? Pictures of the back of one of the new ones would be greatly appreciated (number removed or obscured of course).
    The actual construction of the card is what I'm interested in here, I've got plenty of the front but none of the sides and back.

    I'm really just trying to see how the magnetic strip is put on the back. Is there a section cut out so it is flush with the metal or is it actually encoded on the metal?

    Its all metal and the strip is on it. It doesn't stick out if thats what you are insinuating. It is flush on the card

    No, the business had one but we got rid of it after we quit traveling so much. that was in 05. They issued new ones in 06 made of titanium and I am curious as to the construction.

    Not only do I not spend nearly enough money on credit cards to have one but I don't travel that much anymore, it would be pointless. Lots of business expenses were put on the last one not to mention a netjets initial acquisition cost (I was told it was put on there on the platinum card and thats why they sent us the black).

    I am just curious, heard they issued a new one and I wondered how they got the strip on there. Simple curiosity mainly. Already got a private response, thank you to the sender.
