Looks amazing. I have three Nero Ferraris and one is coated, the FF for daily use. Thinking about the others.

    Which coating?

Here in Florida for my F12 they also offered coating inside?

    Thoughts?

Same stuff on the calipers? Or, what are you using on them? Unless it's a garage queen, it's hard to believe it won't burn off at some point.

Wow. Thinking of doing the same thing on my Rosso Corsa. I’ve seen another one done. The red gets so deep.

Had it done a year ago on my Rosso Corsa and I'm still absolutely thrilled. I spoke with the detailer yesterday and he told me to bring it in next month for its one year booster. For $199 he does a quick polish and lays on another coat. I can't imagine it can look any better.

I was skeptical of Ceramic Coatings at first but as I see more cars having it applied the more of a believer I have become. Your car looks great. I have about 1/2 of my 360 Spider protected with Expel self healing film so I think I might have a "gloss" problem if I try to coat the part of the car with exposed paint. Not sure if anyone else has had the coating applied to only part of the paint.

I have clear bra only on front, with ceramic coating on top of clear bra and on the rest of the car without the bra. You cant tell the difference between the clear bra section and the paint section.

Picked up my 458 from the dealer for its annual yesterday and saw that they’re offering this thought them. Was a bit skeptical but am now thinking about doing it. I too have a clear bra on the front end. What’s the price point for just the exterior and also the whole car?

I wouldn't do it thru the dealer, there are plenty of detail guys doing it but make sure you research the product they use because as with everything there are different quality products. I went with a guy that uses opti coat. The price differs based on the number of coats they put on the car. The more coats the better protection and longer it lasts. An entire exterior goes from $300 to $1500 in my area. They do every inch of the exterior (except windows and rubber).

Thanks for the feedback. The dealer was (no surprise) quite expensive and was obviously outsourcing the work. I’ll shop around!

    Hi Shawn,

I am also thinking of doing ceramic on my nero 599. I will shop around too and share what I find.

Just had my new Panamera coated and it looks great. The detailer has a lease program designed for 3 years to make it easy to maintain the car. After waiting a week from the application I figured I'd have to wash the car as it had been driven in the rain, but it was barely dirty. I really love this stuff.

Got an estimate from a detailing shop in the Southbay. $1,800 without paint correction and $3,800 with paint correction. I went there last month for paint correction on my F430, so I know the place and they did a good job. However this estimate seems a little high.

seems way high. i get paint correction being a couple grand but the $1800 is pretty steep
