Having been involved with Flight Test at Cessna (for Citations) back in the '90's, I always like to follow their first flights. This image of the first flight of the JTA Skylane caught my attention. I am sure everyone will notice the issue with this photo.

A diesel with no cloud of black smoke?

    Taking off downwind?

As an aside, can you use either diesel or Jet-A in that engine?

Its the tailwind takeoff that I found interesting. Perhaps an optical illusion based on the camera angle, but the wind looks like it is coming right down the runway.
