Cessna plane lands on I-4 in Orlando

    Just happened a short while ago. Near downtown close to Orange Blossom Trail and I-4. Eastbound lanes shut down and TONS of traffic. Miles of traffic. Plane looks to have landed cleanly and is sitting in the fast lane.

    NBAA related? ;)

    Edit: The 172 has been moved off the interstate and into the median. There was construction in the median so the pilot had to land on the interstate. Doesn't appear that anyone died or any cars wrecked that I know of. Came out okay. :)

    It was being piloted by FL Independent Max Linn who is running for governor. The cops rolled the plane off I-4 and into a boat dealership's parking lot (Boat Tree). There's a little slogan on the building that says "Don't fly, go boating." hahah!
