    Vehicle Description
1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS “Chairs and Flares”

A stunning example of the 1974 Ferrari Dino 246GTS in the desirable "Chairs and Flares" combination. This beautiful Dino is finished in the classic Rosso Corsa over Tan Leather Interior. This car features AM/FM Stereo, Air Conditioning, and more. The car was fitted with better seats from the Ferrari Daytona, as well as wider Campagnolo wheels, along with aggressive flared fenders, which is known today as Chairs and Flares. Ferrari only produced a total of 91 "Chairs and Flares" 246 GTS Dino's for the USA during the entire production run, making it one of the rarest combinations for the Ferrari Dino. Trade-ins are welcomed

    Beautiful car!

Didn't Michael Sheehan broker this 1972 Dino GTS for around $329K not too long ago?

Dino's are special cars and, IMHO, have a lot of room for a financial upside.

When Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona's are starting to move up to what-used-to-be 275 GTB prices, the nicer Dino's are going to move up in price quite a bit too.

Enjoy the ride while it lasts! :)

Too much. Way too much. Is it a 98 point car?. NO

Get rid of the Ferrari script on the rear. It is not a Ferrari

Oops here we go again. It is a Ferrari. Perhaps you should look into the official homoglation of the car and read who is the constructor. My eyes tell me its "Ferrari Spa" and the model "Dino"

So who cares if it isn't a 98 point car. Bearing in mind over here there are only approx 23 - 246GT cars originally imported into the UK, that makes them a rare car and (biased here) worth more. Who knows how many are left, current estimates put them at around 14 GT's in the UK. Having been offered £175k for mine recently and turned it down, if it hits £200K i may start to think a little harder

    Cheers
    Tony

Sorry guys. I am not a Dino fan. It is not that I dislike the car, having driven my share I never really warmed up to it. I am also one of those people that have a hard time with the current value. But that is just me.

Enjoy it. get all the money you can.

Then buy yourself a 365GT4 BB.

    12cyl all the way.

Its getting closer every day i think!!

412monzaindy- Unfortunately it's not Dino owners pushing the price up, its seems to be dragged along when others cars (of all marques & inc the 365) rise in value too.

The 365gtBB is a nice car but i prefer the dino, much much better car to drive IMO.

I think it is interesting you are posting in the Dino forum. If you don't like it, that is fine, but why post why you don't like it?

I don't dislike the Boxer series, and I agree they are under-valued.

I think they fall into the same area as Dino's do, at a value less than a current production car, they are a steal.

As the progenitor of my 308 I think this car is stunning. If I had the money it would be next to my Rossa Corsa/Beige 308 GTS QV tomorrow.

It's a nice car, but I agree get rid of the Ferrari script, it really shows a lack of knowledge and respect.

This is exactly what 412monzaindy was trying to articulate. A Ferrari script badge does not correctly belong on a Dino. To do so, IMHO, diminishes their raison d'etre - as a tribute to Enzo's son. No knowledgeable individual would argue that a Dino is not a member of the Ferrari heritage and bloodline. Leonardo Fioravanti was a genius.

So, where is this listing from?

Also, it looks from the photos like the targa top is painted a gloss black - if it is, it should be a flatter black - but again, I can't tell from the photos posted.
