I know this is verging on blasphemous, but do any of you challenge owners have suggestions on car covers for when they’re in storage? The street car covers obviously fit the non-evo cars but what about the ones with wings etc. How are you guys keeping them covered when in storage?

I’m going to call the place listed by @gatorgreg for my 458 Ch Evo. I left the car up at Pitt Race a few weeks back (for 10 days) and I purchased a large tarp which I tied underneath. It worked out, but would prefer a better fitting cover in situations where it sits in the open.

I just got word my VCI box finally made it through Italy customs and is at Waycon. Not in a huge hurry since I’m not tracking in steamy FL summer, but I have big plans for an active fall.

Tires, brakes, fluids, alignment check and the VCI diagnostics will go a long way towards putting me back in the groove. Car’s been great, and it’s been a real learning experience (positive mostly),

A friend with a new Z06 has had his car out at three separate track events - each time he’s had a transmission failure.

Covercraft makes the better custom covers in my experience. Need to do some measurements. You can buy direct or Cover Store or California Car Cover sells them. I personally use them for all my covers from cars to grill to outdoor furniture.

Appreciate the leads guys. Looking to replicate the OE ones so they all match when in the building together. OCD and all. I’ll make some inquiries!

Not blasphemous at all. I need a cover for my 458 Challenge Evo and cannot find one. Thanks for asking. I'll be asking around when I get to the Challenge weekend at Sonoma next month.

I probably should keep my nose out of this....But, it is important to know the climate range of the storage area. I've heard of moisture getting under the cover and spotting the finish if heat gets too high...I am sure you can get good advice from storage facilities in your area.

I was really hoping my lusso cover would fit the 458/488 challenges so the material and logos etc on the other cars would match but no go so it’ll have to be custom. Seems like thats the only solution. Please post if you happen to get other suggestions as I’d like to look at the gamut before deciding.

Good point. In my case the cars are stored in a climate controlled building with dehumidifier so it should be ok.
