    Hello,

Does anyone know what mapping the warm-up, practice and race modes actually do on the Ferrari challenge cars i.e 430/360? I understand they change to a different display mode but does warm-up for example limit rpm and speed? What’s the difference between practice and race (maybe rpm limiter or?) ??

    thanks!

The 360 has just the ASR on or off mode.
The 430 did have a setting. I forget exactly what it was called.
I do remember never running any mode except off even in the rain. The ACR mode was horrible. You could not even drive the car. It would cut the power and activate the brakes.
In the 360 the acr will just come one without even touching the switch.

Thanks for your input. The 360 has race, practice and warmup mode on the display similar to 430. Maybe an update??? Hmm- a problem I’m having is initially it wouldn’t go faster than 50 mph, then after driving it around a little more now accelerating increased and top speed too… but still not normal. Maybe the computer is learning…?

I drive a 430C but another guy here drives a 360C. I believe those are just display settings not impacting performance. We warm up the cars for maybe 3-5 minutes but then go. I have never seen the 360C limited in first lap except tire warm up precautions.
You may want to reach out to 360TREV he knows so so much about the electronics and software on the 360 it is scary

Well to close the reason why the 360c was in limp mode was the accelerator potentiometer was bad. Replaced and it responded properly. thanks for the input.

We have a 360 in our team. He had a similar problem. The ASR was on the entire time. The switch stopped working. I hope this helps. He had to disable it.

I haven’t noticed any performance/mapping differences in my 360C with the different display settings…I believe it’s just showing different parameters (oil pressure, oil temp, speed, etc.). Personally, I like to keep my display to always show coolant temp, oil temp and oil pressure.

Thanks for your thoughts on modes and ASR.

It seems that ASR for 430, 360 is an issue (maybe others.. I don’t know) but I do turn ASR off..

Our mechanic could not switch it off. He had to disconnect it with the diagnostic software.

    Hi Gatorgreg,
Interesting- so the ASR toggle switch didn’t turn it off?
