I'm trying to find a better F1 transmission and E-Diff fluid for my 430. Getting a lot of E-Diff overheat issues on the track. Can anyone tell me what fluid you use in the 430 Challenge cars.

Kind of what we suspected. Wonder if there is a bigger tank for the Challenge cars?

With 18 races down, we have never had an issue with F1 or e-diff overheating. There is something else at play.

TA and TX are getting difficult to acquire. We are also doing some research on another alternative.

I have been battling the E-Diff warning light since last season. First 2 track days this year, as soon as I get off the track, the E-Diff warning light comes on while pulling into the pit lane. I have been told it's an E-Diff overheating warning. It seams to make sense since it goes away once the car is cooled down and restarted. The dealership has done everything trying to fix the problem including consulting factory and I have spent almost 13 K to date with the recommended repairs. Does the challenge cars have an E-Diff or transmission cooler. I have also experienced with my Porsche that high quality gear fluids tend to resolve certain shift issues. I'm thinking of putting in Redline Racing ATF or Torco RTF Racing Transmission Fluid.

430 Challenge cars have a conventional limited slip and not an ediff system.
What error is stored, this may need to be scanned during the event. Is the e-diff warning amber or red. The e-diff is pretty bullet proof with the exception of the occassional valve that will develope a internal leak due to contaminated pintle. Causes low pressure and excessive pump cycle time. What gear oil are you using. As this occurs only when you are exiting the track I would be concerned about the clutch pack dragging when it is hot if you are using a alternative gear oil to the factory recomendation. Just a thought. Good luck.
