How can you tell the front of a 360 with a challenge grille?

The standard car has egg crate grilles with large openings and the challenge grilles have grilles with smaller openings.

Front, rear or both? Alan told about front. The rear is a perforated panel between the taillights.

is it true you need to purchase an extra bracket to support the front grille?

If you want to compare a CS to a Modena coupe, then yes, the bumpers are different.

I do believe the answer is yes. Look on eBay, I have seen the spacers on there before for sale

The bracket is not needed but without it there is a gap that is visible.

    standard bumper and CS bumper

the trim ring behind is decorative

it can cost as much or more than the grills.

it also needs paint in my opinion which is not cheap to do either.

All up, budget about $1500 to do it, with all parts and labor

    bumper must come off,

    looks nice when done.

The "trim ring" or something like it is mandatory IMHO. I bought the grilles and rings from Home page . I am now trying to sell the original egg crate items with not a lot of success. I wish I had cut them around and used them as the "rings" instead of buying them!
