Fellow Fchatters, my beautiful CS (thanks Andrew and Vince!) needs new tires and I know that some members have tried other options, but I decided to stick with the OEM Pirelli PZero Corsa System tires. The rear tires, which are asymmetrical, are generally available, but the fronts have been backordered in the US for awhile now.

A helpful guy at Tirerack said he thought he could get them in about two weeks, but that Pirelli hasn't made them for a few years, or makes them intermittently, and that the ones at the distributor are about three years old. Shelf life isn't a problem but the tires are DOT certified for a max life of 10 years, so the tires would only be "good" for another 7 years or so. Since this is about how old my current tires are, I don't really think it's a problem, but I guess I'd prefer "new" tires if they can be had. Does anyone know if it is correct that Pirelli is no longer making the tires--at least for the US? Anyone have a source other than Tirerack? Thanks for any info...peter

I have Hankooks on mine. I love'em. But I'm not at the track every month either.

Suggest you go up one size in the front to 235/35-19. These should be in stock and are used on the Scuderia. I have used these on my Stradale since the first tire replacement. Better turn-in and less understeer. Recommend 33 psi in the front. 31 psi in the rear.
    Have fun.

If you already have the rears, just get the 235/35 up front. My CS has the OEM tires in 235/35 upfront and works fine.

[that said, I just got RE-11's in the same size and am putting them on next week]

Thanks all--I'd prefer to stick with the OEM tires. arizonaitalian, do you know who stocks 235/35's? Tirerack doesn't list these...

I am shocked they don't have them. Just call them and they will get them for you (or if you have discount tire near you they will do the same)

Yup--you were right: a little more digging at Tirerack turned up a pair of current production 235/35's. Thanks for the suggestion! peter
