I know of only one car in France so delivered - a friend of mine.

The real problem with them is that they scratch very easily and when it rains you get wet.........

Like it was said above. The lexan windows weren't available. You can Google "Challenge Stradale" and see lots of pics with the racing windows. I'll try to post one.

Thanks, and like Mike I have them in high-res (1600x1200) on my site:

    http://www.ozcarsightings.com/update3a.html

You'll have to sort through the 9 pages and get the CS pics - just ignore the Murcielago, Gallardo, GT2 etc. :p

I have the CS with the racing window. Well, I am in Thailand, so most thing is OK on the street here...he he.

To sum it up, the racing window isn't good on the street. The wind noise at speed above 120 km/h is quite bad and conversation is impossible above 180 km/h. It also leaks in water a little. So, don't spray the window when you wash the car. But the door closes with much better sound. Thudddd...is the sound, I guess. The window is also scratched easily if you use it quite often.

But, hey, that window makes the CS even closer to the F40. I just had this feeling that the CS is modern interpretation of the F40...spartan interior, screaming engine, and the racing window helps on this regards too.
