All these comments on the 430S being so much better really make me laugh. Ferrari is slowly spoon feeding the technology every 4 or 5 years and your paying through the nose...

The CS can easily be a whole lot better than the 430S with just another 100kg's removed (40kg's of that comes from just the switch of the full exhaust/headers/cats to a full Titanium, another 10 from the battery) and a supercharger kit to see 600hp. In the right hands with almost 600hp per tonne not much could keep up including the new Scud.

Only problem is how far do you take this concept? I'd actually rather see less overall power and grip and most importantly significantly much less weight. All this equals a whole lot more fun, faster turn in, faster lap times and a much more confident and exciting drive. Drive a little Ariel Atom or Lotus Elise to see what I am talking about...

When I read the ridiculous things you're saying I just know you've got a good sense of humor, tugging our leg.

No Tony, that's not so. As I probably have said to you in the past, I love the CS no question about it. However when people start to deny the benefits of evolution(particularly immediate evolution such as in the Scud) then I think it is really silly. Just like the 430 is a better evolved version of the 360(and I am sure no one will deny that) then the Scud is a better evolved version of the CS. Sure the CS has its place in history-no question- however for people to say that they "are not sure about the performance of the Scud" and that maybe the Scud is not as good as the CS is sheer lunacy. At the end of the day-and you cant deny this- the Scud has everything the CS has and then some. No two ways about it. Although of course I have not driven the Scud yet I cannot for a moment think that the CS has something the Scud doesnt have-apart from about £70k difference. And herein lies the big dilemma, although the Scud is better in all aspects, is it good value and is it worth the extra £70k difference. I am still not sure myself. Of course for someone where price is irrelevant, then the decision is simple-go for the Scud.
