Yes, Argento Nurburgring (silver) on the wheels. Not gray.

    Steve,

Not a whole lot yet. Biggest benefit is those brand new sticky tires. The ride is definitely smoother and tighter. I couldn't be happier. I'm getting an alignment in a couple weeks to further dial it in.

The tecnical regulation books for the challenge series call out 8" width wheels in front and 10" in rear. I did not throw a tape measure up. When the Challenge car arrives in a few weeks, I will measure for sure.

Still not sure if I'll go with stickers or not, though I really like they way they look on your car, Robb. Did you get them directly from speedline?

Also I need to figure out the best way to remove the paint from the lug inserts. I was thinking of bonding some sandpaper to the taper on the back of an old lug bold and carefully spinning it with a drill. Wish they had been masked, but I bought them after they were refinished so too late for that.

I'm open to suggestions. Obviously great care is needed.

    Casey, your wheels look great.

I think you have to go with vintage stickers... :)

Have a look at the many speedline options.

Thanks for that link, Robb. I just ordered a set of the old style (no Corse) in yellow with black outline.

OK I did a search didn't find info....Robb you seem to be expert on the challenge fitment so maybe you can help!!

My gts is at bradan right now for major plus other items. Was off road for some time..looking foward to being a more active member here when I get her back.

I aquired a nice set of challenge wheels a while back but without center caps. My understanding is that 226245 caps from Ricambi will fit just fine? can you confirm?

    thanks!

Are the 348 & 355 Challenge wheels the same? The dimensions are 8x18" and 10x18", correct? Can anyone tell me the offsets?

Since Challenge wheels are apparently virtual unobtainium I'm thinking of having some wheels made so that I can run wider rubber on my car and am trying to figure out the specs. If anyone has confirmed knowledge of being able to run even more wheel width that would be great info to have as well.

    TIA.

I was looking into this company (fifteen52.us | innovation since 1996). They have a wheel that looks similar. These are the guys Magnus Walker used for some of his 911's, so I'm guessing the quality is good.

Judging by the crazy stuff I see you post in the classifieds, I would guess that if you just spent a little more time in whatever basement at FNA that you're raiding, a set of Challenge wheels and tires will probably reveal themselves.

    :D

Although didn't you put aftermarket 19" or 20" wheels on your car?
