I´m currently getting two of my challenge wheel sets sandblasted to treat them with some new colour afterwards. Been thinking about spraying or powdercoating and both solutions have their pro & con but the main question to me is: what did speedline do ex work? Did they powdercoat them? I´d like to keep all items on the car as original as possible.

Any input to this topic would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

Robb, Tim, Barry, thanks for your quick replies, I'll get them sprayed then with the right primers and will post pictures of the result.

Wheels are another piece you never want to powder coat. Race wheels should be periodically inspected for cracks and with powder coating you can't do that.

None of your three sets have cracks. Though certainly lots of road rash from hard racing! :)
