LOVE the 2 tone look with the gray front and black insides!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see them on the car!!!!!!!! Very jealous---I want some dam CH wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PizzaPrince.....what process did you use to prepare the existing surface?? Who did the job and what did it cost????? I've got a set that needs a complete refinish.......what is the face color code(and mfg), looks like the perfect color to match my titanium lugbolts. Alot of questions but I have got to get this done ASAP...... BTW, your wheels look PERFECT!!!!
I paid $850 to have the wheels powder coated and straightened.I used a company in New Rochelle New York... PROFORMANCE Industries the owner George was very familiar with speedline challenge wheels,he does most of the work for the tri state area Ferrari dealers. One of the cleanest shops i have ever seen. They also fabricate custom wheels as well.Still waiting for the calipers to get powder coated i think they will be ready on monday.I'm sure he will give a discount for F chat members.YES i also mentioned to him about becoming a F chat sponser.
I love my Challenge wheels. I have been using them since '94. They were so good that I had a second set, just for the track! I have since sold them to F&LCars to enjoy.....
I was glad to get them Dino! I won't get them on until my major is done, though. Need to get them refinished, and then probably get PS2s with sizes you have used. I'll probably go with bright silver, but was thinking of the gunmetal gray like on post above. Will probably stick with silver.
John, I think the wheels came out great. The color also also has that Black / Chrome effect going on, and not just a One dementional flat color. Christopher
Once you go black you will never go back! Black is the way to go. I do like the look of your red 355 with the dark grey wheels! Very nice! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think black wheels are Ok on a black car, but I don't really care for them for the most part. The wheels tend to disappear, especially if the car is a bright color.
I'm still thinking that the grey feels good....colours are colours.....and each macchina is different. Please never copy each other, please improve in each car. But.....I'm in love with each of them, all of them are specials. Cheers. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, based on your picture you may be right... after looking very very closely, I was able to see where the wheels end and the tires begin.
My wheels done in Gray...Thanks D. Helms!!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
