    Kevin Kalkhoven has been stood up enough by Tony George, I wouldn't be too optimistic either, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to see IRL cars at Long Beach, especially with the new ChampCar chassis coming out next year. Robert Clarke has been trying to talk sense into Tony George for a year, look for an announcement soon that Honda is leaving IRL.

    Wow, how progressive! That means the men heading up the futures of these racing series are finally batting around ideas that the fans proposed 5 years ago. Maybe what they should do is think about it for 3 more years, declare the idea dead, and instead come up with more lame PR ideas like red tires, boost buttons and Gene Simmons.

    The IRL marketing machine. If you didn't care for Gene S. with makeup, he's just plain ugly without it. I mean really, where could you use that tongue anyway. Only on a very large playing field.

    Gene Simmons is just trying to help with marketing, that's all.
    He (KISS) were the first band to really promote the marketing and branding of merchandise to the extent that they did, aside from running a t-shirt booth.

    You certainly cannot take anything away from him, he (they) earned it, and apparently learned a few things along the way.

    That said, I don't think it will help the IRL at all, but that's not going to be his fault.
