Others may comment on getting used to the F1 and ensuring it has latest software & is properly set up but the cost to convert to manual will be huge - you'd be best off selling the F1 locally and buying a manual LHD in the UK where theyoften seem to be cheaper

Can you say why you are miserable.

I always liked manual, but everyone says the F1 is great.

You are obviously like me and believe using a clutch is the only way to drive and enjoy a sports car.

I was at first reluctant to sell my e39 M5 6 speed stick and buy my current e60 m5 with SMG...after 2 years with the SMG including track events as well as daily driver use, I do not think I would ever go back to an antiquated foot clutch system...

The only possible way would be to find a garage that specializes in recycling Modena's. As people have pointed out this will most certainly not be a cheap conversion. You are most certainly better off selling your F1 and buying the Manual.

I feel your pain, I too just don't get on with flappy paddles. The manual once its properly set up is quite excellent (cables adjusted properly). There is nothing like that metal slotted gate shift. The polished ball feels so great in your hand and heel and toe-ing is sublime. Get into a flow and there is nothing quite like it. Far more fun than playing with the Playstation controller, sorry I mean paddles. :)

Cost would be huge trade it for a 6 speed if thats what you really want.

For the cost of changing the 360 to a 6-speed (not counting diminished value after the conversion) it would probably be cheaper to buy back your 355 and keep both cars. It would really be THAT expensive to do a proper conversion.
