I was wondering as well... Seems like an interesting project if youre looking to familiarize yourself with a 355 for sheer enjoyment. Not such a good idea to do it on a budget though imo.
Do you wonder about its history, or present disposition?. It lived in Alaska for a while , it sold at auction, twice. At the second auction it got its salvage title. Its likely a Katrina casualty. The salavge was due to flood. Was it fresh water or salt water? Unfortunately it was salt water. Did it go up to the dashboard i asked? Yes it did. It now has electrical problems that are unresolved after over $10k in used parts, wire harness, conectors, ecu's, sending units, etc. The seller paid $50k and approx another $15k in service and parts. He seems to be stuck at not selling it for under $35k, can't say I blame him, not sure I want to trade places though....Leslie.
This project seems to be doomed for costly failure ! Why would you even consider it? Buy an f-car and keep it original - let the car junkies play around with their projects.
