Changes coming to C&C?

I really hope everybody is reading more than the first page and then hitting "reply." The new guidelines are quoted above. Those original thoughts of a pre-'78 show never materialized. Just use some common sense about what you think is show-worthy before you decide to park in the display lot. The more people who realize their stock '07 BMW doesn't deserve a spot, the more 375 MMs they can squeeze into the show area. And don't show up with a big group unless you have it prearranged with the hosts. And as always don't forget to drive in and out of the Ford campus like it's a church parking lot.

I agree that anything new should be allowed, but once that newness wares off, it should be parked it the spectator parking structure. When you have Dime-a-Dozen cars coming in and taking up the space of a 1 of ? type of car that may be turned away, someone has to draw the line somewhere. I have only attended C&C once and that was in October. I was rather happy with what was there, I loved it. If Ido somehow get to come down there again, I would prefer to see cars that are not seen to often show up.

 

It'll be interesting to see how they handle the turning away of non-special interest cars? Some guy who thinks his suped up Bimmer is the bomb, won't be too happy if he gets pointed to the exit. Anyway, I'm sure they'll have that figured out. I just don't want to see the organizer people get burned out because they have to deal with the stress of turning away a-holes that should have a clue. Anyway, onward an upward. We should consider ourselves lucky that the C&C peeps aren't just throwing in the towel.

With rain in the forcast again for this Saturday, looks like we all might have to wait another week to find out. Two weeks of no C&C will already make the masses come out! Still, rules seem simple enough. Classics or Exotics or park in the rear...........

 

It seems that I may be down on the 28th. Of course with camera in hand. Hopefully the weather will be good. After that I have to run back to Burbank for something, then I may stay overnight and go to VCR.
