    Hi. I went to start up my Challenge Stradale and complete dead. Nothing works. Not even door windows or lights. I have a battery tender on it so a little surprised. The battery is about 8 years old but the car is low mileage. I assume the battery is dead and needs replacement? Does it even make sense to put a charger on it seeing I had a battery tender on it? If I need to change does anyone have the steps to change it? I’ve done a search and can’t find anything. Is it pretty straight forward? I really appreciate any help.

    Change battery. Start there.

    Batteries eventually fail even on a charger. Replace the battery don’t jump start.

    Lead-acid batteries rarely last as long as yours. Change it.

    change the battery for sure. it's charged, but won't hold under load IMO. Simple job to do. DO NOT JUMP START IT. Take an advil before beginning the battery swap, trust me. LOL.

    I appreciate the input. Is interstate still the preferred battery? Also, once I replace the battery is there anything else electrically that has to be reset or is this automatic?

    Nothing to reset... I love my Antigravity Battery.... held my car in storage in NE winter, with no power or means to put a trickle charger for almost 3 months. Voltage was over 12 V, started right up. ... did I mention I saved 35lbs in the process :) EDIT: and no, I did not lose weight, it was the battery.

    turn main power supply OFF when replacing the battery (round knob in your frunk on the upper left hand side).

    Thanks for everyone’s input. I just picked up an Interstate battery and ready to install. After I install is there anything special I need to do before turning car on or after? Thx!

    No, once it’s connected. Turn battery shut off knob back on and start car like you always do.

    Antigravity had a 15% off sale for Black Friday. I got a battery for my Scud :)
