    Hi everyone, I am a beginner in the world of die cast model collecting. I was quite surprised when I saw most models (although otherwise beautiful) come in small number of ordinary colors I do not like - red or yellow. I would love to have my Ferrari blue or silver.
    What I actually have in mind is CMC 1/18 Ferrari 250 GT SWB. Has anyone encountered the same issue? Is there a way around it - e.g. are there some kind of specialized companies that would respray the model? CMC are such nice and expensive models I obviously dont want to ruin by repainting it myself..
    Also, would it be possible to request different color from CMC themselfs? Has anyone tried?

    1. I doubt that CMC are setup to be able to accommodate special orders of a unique color.
    2. There are specialist model builders who may be persuaded to do this for you - a couple of them are members here. Everything is possible for the right price.
