I posted either in the Cross Reference section or who knows where here in TR/Boxer Forum of a company in New England (Conn. I think) that does alot of ferrari clutch relining and is a 5 day turnaround or shorter for well under $200 usd....great workmanship and the correct material!! If I can find the reciept (remodeling the house) I'll post it up again....

Here is the text of the post:
Need a clutch disc or two relined..........

Got a pair for my 1987 TR done for under $200 with a 5 day turn around.....my door to theirs and back to me!!!

The name of the company is All Frictions Co. LLC. The tel # is 860-342-2001….ask for Tim, and mention my name Kerry Wittig, the Ferrari guy!

    Their website is www.allfrictions.com

By the way, this is the company that does all the clutch and brake relining work for Wayne Carini, he's a Ferrari expert, owns F40 Motorsports, Portland, CT and hosts a TV show on HDnet called “Chasing Classic Cars”. I figure if Carini trusts his workmanship……….so can I!!

Same here Phil. Beats the hell out of an alignment tool because your using the input shaft that's going in it anyway. It's guaranteed to be in perfect alignment. When dealing with two disks, it's the only way to go.

I believe I posted elsewhere here on FChat years ago..........

    That the $6, 18 spline, 1 1/8" diameter, Part Number: 14508
Manufacturer: DORMAN-HELP, plastic clutch alignment tool, which can be used in millions of Toyota vehicles from the 70's thru 2000's in every corner of this planet,,,,, is an EXACT fit if you put one wrap of electrical tape on the pilot bearing diameter.

I have an exchange clutch being fitted next month prior to my 3000 mile week long European tour in june. i am opting for a KEVLAR unit and it is from a company in the UK called Maddog clutches - see link below. The great news is the cost for my dual plate unit for my 89 UK car is £540 inc VAT and shipping !!
I will report back when I have had it fitted :)

If there is truly an interest from a variety of Testa owners I'll buy a dozen or so and ship them to anyone, anywhere that can put together a "charity" donation via Paypal......
