I am trying to change the Crank sensor on my 430 and I am having trouble unplugging it from the harness. The plug is held in place by a metal bracket and I don't want to damage anything. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ken

Pinch what’s circled in yellow with needle nose pliers and pull it up and out of metal bracket. Or, you can use all the might in your fingers.

It’s easiest to start with the far left (driver side) and move towards right (passenger) side. It’s hard, maybe impossible (?), to get one out from the middle without first starting from the edge.

I also like to put dielectric grease on the seals, careful to not get on prongs, so the connectors go back together easily.

    They’re numbered.

12 year old answer, so if this is still a problem for you, you’re welcome! Lol. I’m just answering for the next guy…

I see there are left and right crank sensors. Will this Bosch part number fit both

Are those metal forks the brackets you speak of?
