Here is another observation, that may fit into the pattern.

When I use my 355 everyday for a week, I find that 2nd is rarely problematic on cold, it slips straight in. However If I leave the car for over a week in the garage, the 2nd gear stiffness returns for the first few minutes of driving.

Took it for a real run this evening, gear change got easier as it got warmer.

    Thanks, Chris.

    348 v 911 war
    348 v 360 war now?

No Sy, mine had a bit of problem with 1st this morning.

Mind you, it was the wife that was driving it for the first time :D

I have since told her not to try sticking it from 2nd to 1st when the cars still moving!

My Wife has been away all weekend and I had the Kids to attend to. First opportunity was this evening!

Not sure why it has a CD Player in. Had the window down and listened to the engine.

I am absolutely hooked - unreal!!!!!!!!!!

    Chris.

errrr, nope, sorry, am I missing something? :D

There was Stu's Z3 S, my Spider, lotus Exige, TVR Griff 500 and a TVR T350.

Not joking, the run was stunning. One section twisting up a tree lined valley could've been in the southern Alps. Hardly saw another car, and not one scamera!
