I wish to replace my standard steering wheel with the F&-style Sparco-extreme model. Any instructions on how to go about it and where to find an adapter (which I assume would be needed? Thanks in advance

Go to the link, then scroll down just a bit: http://webpages.charter.net/aircover/348/1994Ferrari348Spider.html#Steering

If Sparco steering wheels match up their attachment holes with Momo (fairly sure that they do) then you won't need an adapter.

Thanks a million, also for the splendid link you provided me with. Just probably a simple question/ am I assuming right that to take off the horn cap you must simply pry it out gently with (e.g;° a flat screwdriver?

    Thanks again

Just put your hands one on each side of the semi-triangular center leather horn piece, and then simply pull it straight back toward your body to get it off.

Disconnect the horn wires when you turn it around and you'll see how the plastic cavillino yellow horn button pops out from the back view. You'll probably want to re-install that yellow horn button in your new steering wheel (it's easy).

As you instructed, the leather horn piece was very easy to pull off, uncovering the steering screws which, as you presumed, align perfectly with the holes in my new Sparco steering. The alankey that came with the new steering seemed to fit in the stock steering's mounting screws however it proved umpossible when I tried and the alankey begins to turn 'in vain' when I apply some force?
Do you need maybe a specific Ferrari / momo instrument to do the job? What would you suggest?

I've tried everything to unscrew the steering, including buying a set of top-notch allankeys, but to no luck at all...they simply won't budge. Any advice anyone?

Bizarre! Mine were barely screwed in hand-tight.
