Leclerc will be at the Scuderia for years.
Well nothing is catastrophic at Ferrari: they are 2nd, Leclerc is 2nd.
They will probably finish 2nd, which is one step up from last year.
    I think its pretty good.

Lol, 2nd means absolutely jack for either Leclerc or Ferrari; not winning the championship would be a failure for Ferrari (as it should be), no ways around it.
I can agree on the part that nothing is lost yet, though there should be a serious look in the mirror at Maranello. In a well operating team Charles would lead the championship atleast by 20 points currently, but alas, here we are.

I think you are rather unkind with Ferrari.
In the 71 years since F1 exists, Ferrari won only 15 drivers titles, and 16 constructors ones, which is better than any other team.
So, I would say that statistically Ferrari has also done very well when it wasn't winning.
The notion that Ferrari should win all the time, and that not winning is a failure is preposterous.
Having said that I wish them well.

Call me optimistic but if Binotto managed to fix the last strategical problems, Charles could be WDC this year.

Well, sure, yes we certainly should look at it that way. But given the length of drought, and the significant opportunity that has presented since the start of this season, a high level of disappointment is understandable.

    Yes he could, absolutely.

The alternative would be to finish runner-up which isn't shameful.

Anything less than a WDC would be a disappointment given how competitive the car is.

Chuck is a god send to Ferrari , he is one the premier drivers in F1 right now . Maybe needs a little more growing up and stop being so hard on himself but he is the real deal and a winner . The team did a really good job with the car , I think the weak link right now is in race strategy and from all issues to have , that probably is the easiest to solve . Hopefully they address it , they are there otherwise . Would be nice to see them on tpp

There have been constant posts regarding race strategy ****-ups by Ferrari for the last 6 or more yrs. Not sure if internally they just let it go since in the past the car was (mostly) inferior, but regardless they keep paying the price.

Ferrari has brought its driver and equipment A game to the table... This pit wall crap has to stop. The failure in Spain sucked, but its equipment. Its all pushed to beyond the limit. Lec has drove the TIRES off the car. He has gotten every ounce there is. This last one hurt. Both drivers and cars killed it. The team has to get behind the drivers or get new talent. Same as business. Nothing personal.....

I think Sainz/Ferrari woke the dragon last week. Charles was a different driver today. He was out for blood. This could end up being a turning point in his career. We shall see.

Charles' initial move at the start today was quite different than for the Sprint yesterday. He was not going to allow Max to squeeze him and give Carlos P2 in the process. I don't know if Charles thought he could beat Max with pure pace, but he certainly knew he couldn't afford to get stuck behind Carlos.

I think Charles made it clear (again) to Binotto, SF, Tifosi, and anyone paying attention who the faster driver is in the Red Cars. Fortune may hand Carlos more victories, but the SF Pit Wall needs to not hold back their one real hope for a WDC (and they had best sort throttle pedal and fire issues stat).
