    Started on VWvortex (my home forums ;)) as a VW show but has turned into more of a car show now.

    It will be on February 26th at Morris Costumes. There will be cars from VWvortex coming, DTMpower BMW's, AudiWorld/AudiZine, SupraForums, and some more offline so far. There are way more than 500 parking spaces so there is no worry about that. There also might be a dyno I've been told and also possible coverage from EuroTuner magazine. Some local tuners/businesses will also be present.

    I know it might not be the normal thing for some of you to show up to but I figured I would post it on here to see if I could get some Italians out and about if you don't have anything better to do in the Charlotte area ;). And I know everyone there would LOVE to see some Ferraris (I mean who wouldn't right?) Anyways, I'll post any more info as it comes since I am friends with the main organizer and if there's any questions I can have them answered.

    Bump...nobody wants to come see some cars and show off their own? There's supposed to be a lot of cars coming. :)

    I'll be there for sure. I'm gonna be driving my 1994 300zx Twin Turbo. Sure it's not a Ferrari or anything, but I still think it looks nice.

    I think I remember it from Bermuda Run maybe. Yeah man it's really nice! My best friend almost got one.

    We are also planning some trips to dealsgap(tail of the dragon) if you wanna go.

    Over 150 cars planning on coming already and that's not including some lists not added yet. Almost 20 companies planning on being present as well.

    Won't be able to make the Fortune track day at CMP. I will be at CMP on 3/5 - 3/6 for a HPDE with the Carolinas Region Porsche Club. I like going to antagonize the rivalry. I won't have my ferrari there, but will be driving a 2002 Maserati Coup. Stop by and say hello if you are in the area.

    I have already made room reservations for the 4/1 - 4/3 weekend in Asheville for the Dragon run. I will have the Ferrari for that one and am really looking forward to it. I have a lot of questions to ask but don't want to take up all this space on this thread. My sons tell me its not polite. Let me know about other events in the area, I am always looking for a reason to get out and drive.

    Tell your sons to get their own Ferrari, then they can dispense advice about behavior on YOUR board. :) :) Ask away... this is without hesitation, the greatest online community (Ferrari or otherwise) that I've ever particpated in.

    Although there's a huge population of Ferraris in North Carolina, there aren't as many "drivers" as we'd hope. Let's get these things on the road, and we'll guilt the other folks into pulling their cars from those silly plastic bubbles they store them in.

    If the weather is dry this weekend, I'm up for a drive. I can head your direction or we can just meet up somewhere around town.

    DCDC -- are you around this weekend? Maybe we can make a Ferrari run to Giacomo's or maybe to NY Pizza and visit Eddie? N24RE??? Where have you been hiding this winter?

    Still happening. I spoke to David Fender yesterday and he says they are still on with no plans to change that. It seems to be shaping up rather nicely, and if you haven't registered give them a call or email.

    I also noticed fortune motors car merged with www.autocorsa.com

    good show with easily 250 cars in and out throughout the day. too bad no ferraris showed up to impress everyone.
