    I stopped by the Charlotte Convention Center this evening to check out all the new cars. It was very nice to see Foreign Cars Italia (Charlotte) with some floor space. Bob Wyont was there showing off a nice 2001 360 Spyder and a brand new 612 Scaglietti. I won't reveal the colors because I'd hate to entirely ruin the surprise... but I will say that neither was red!

    There was also a beautiful Aston Martin and a couple Maseratis.

    My top pick was, of course, the Scion Xb. It was closest to the concession stand.

    lol nice pick Brian. Damn I should have come to Charlotte this weekend instead of wasting the trip up there last weekend. Woulda been nice to go to this show. Somebody take pics.

    was in town doing some work for one of the big banks, and figured I would drop by the show..

    they had a 360 spider, 612 scag, quattroporte, mas grand sport, db9 convertible, carrera S w/ gt3 aerokit, merc SLR, maybach 62, yellow z06, red viper coupe, m5, and that's about all that was interesting to me. ohh and that big truck from navistar/international that ashton kutcher has.

    the red stitching on the z06's seats was already coming undone -- seems to be of poor finish for this being the first day of the show.

    I was amazed to finally see a car or two of note at the show. I had stopped going as past shows had been nothing more than what a drive down Independence or South would get you. Hmmm....now that I think of it, with FCI in town.....it's still like paying for a drive down Independence....The M5 was nice though ;)
