Yes Jeremy, you're right, we should have over 30 cars at the event! Once again, the members of CAFE have really "stepped up" to make this a great event - we look forward to seeing everyone there!

 

is it in cornelius or charlotte?

i am interested in attending but i need to know where it will be held.

485 to Rea Rd. Then go East (away from town) Youll come to a shopping center with target (the second target about 2 miles away from 485), go to the next light and turn right. 131 will be in the back.

 

thank you dave. what time will it begin or what time do cars need to be there? how do i register a car?

You just need to let me know if you plan to show. But please do so ASAP as I'm needing to "cutoff" registration at 2pm today (Tuesday) so I can begin preparations.

The show will be from 11am - 3pm.

Great suggestion Peter! Again, we will have over 30 vehicles on hand - here are the models scheduled to appear:

330 GT, 365 2+2, 308 GT4, 308 QVs, Mondial Cab, 328s, 348s, 355s, 360, 360 Spider, 512 BBi, Testarossas, 550, Miura S, Gallardo, Gallardo Spider, Iso Grifo, MV Agusta, Ducati

Plus, we will have display vehicles from Sport Auto, FCI, Vespa of Charlotte, and Privatus.

 

Thanks Pete for the info. I might try and run down there Saturday. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Sorry for not checking the N. Carolina section, but I just found this thread. Anyway, I was always a browser until recently picking up an 06 Maserati Coupe GT from FCI. If not to late I would love to drop by the event. Of course, if it is to late to register I am still planning to come drop by as Ballantyne is only a few miles from my house.

 

Directions to "Motori Italiani" - A Celebration of Italian Motoring:

Charlotte, NC 28277

Take I-485 to the Rea Road exit. Go south on Rea approximately 2 miles. At the light, take a right onto Ardrey Kell. Take the second entrance on the right and 131 Main is right there.

I certainly encourage all of our visitors to drive their "toys" as we always have other great cars parked off to the side. You'll be in good company!

Is the Miura S any chance yellow? Last summer I saw a yellow Miura a couple times out driving. Driver and I have waved at eachother before. Can't wait to get to see a Miura up close an in person.

 

You're correct - the Miura is yellow over white - wonderful car!

 

i am in san diego currently...can anyone tell me what the weather is likely to do? is there a rain provision?
