    Don't believe everything you read ;) -- here's how SN 25375 (VIN 308GTS25375) looked when I sold it in late 1999 with ~130K miles on the engine and the (5-digit) odometer showing ~30K (although the top end was rebuilt at 90K miles). A shame if it got burned up -- maybe they just re-riveted the SN plate onto something else ;).

    Having the drilled holes in the pedals and the metal (Ti) shift knob is consistent with as it was when she left me. I had added an engine turning detail to the aluminum piece under the rear window -- if that's still there, it would (sadly) confirm the real 25375.

    I saw that on eBay, too. That car needs a LOT of work!

    I'm also curious: Has anyone else ever heard of re-bodying a 308 to look like a Dino? (I don't really see the point.) This is a new one for me!

    That is a fiberglass "Kelmark" body, normally fitted to the old VW beetle chassis. It looks a bit like a Dino but not much.
