hello I want to ask if anyone in this forum has detailed pictures of vintage ferraris chassis; 250gto, 250lm, 250gte 166, 212, 250 california... all the best
This is a good start: 2004 FCA Concours http://www.*************/Gallery?cmd=viewGallery&uID=119513&gID=220&pgID=1 Some very complete event coverage: http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/archive-summary/
thanks but what i'm looking for are the frame chassis pictures of the vintage ferraris... and those are hard to find.
There are blueprints in the book "Gilco"; Ferrari's chassis builder. I believe Chater's in England still has copies..
If you just want photos showing the general look, Marcel Massini's 'Ferrari 250LM' has a couple; 'Dino, the little Ferrari' by Doug Nye has the 206S on p235; 'Ferrari 250GTO' by Bluemel/Pourret for the GTO; and 'Ferrari Sports Prototypes' by Prunet has the 375MM, 625F, 750M, & 500TRC details. Here are some pictures of a frame off being done to a 250 Boano. regards Ken Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not hard to spot, eh? Yeah, the car is being done right by Chuck and his group of craftsmen. I've taken some pictures of the body as it has progressed when I was out at his place for a little cookout. It was really interesting to see this car on the rotisserie for sandblasting. regards, Ken
