    FYI

For those who are unable to attend the club's North Cascade event (Sept 17-19), here's something fun to do locally.

The "2004 Concours d' Elegance at Chateau Ste. Michelle" will be taking place on the grounds of the winery in Woodinville on Saturday- Sept 18, 9AM-3PM.

It's put on by the Porsche & BMW clubs, but it is open to all European marques, including Ferrari. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies according to the marque/age classifications, plus a Best of Show and a Peoples Choice award.

Cost is $25 per car (including driver) for a judged entry, or $20 for display only. All proceeds go to DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America). Spectator tickets are $5.00 at the show.

The cut off date to pre-register your car is Sept 1st. (Day of show entries are $5 extra.)

All of the info and registration forms are at:

PS: I have entered my car for judging and will be there all day.

You should drive the Ferrari to the North Cascades Trip with the club!!! It WILL be more fun (I'm pretty sure).

By the way...when are we going to get the two "boxer trim twins" together? That is assuming I get mine back on the road soon!!!

    Eric,

Here's the thread about the Cascade event Sept 17-19.

Membership in the Ferrari Club is required for that event, so you'll need to sign up with the FCA, if you haven't already done so.

Wish I could do the Cascade three day event, but I have other plans on that Sunday.

The turn out at the show yesterday wasn't very good because of the poor weather conditions.

Only three Ferraris showed up. Todd R. brought with his 308 (he won a 3rd place trophy!), my Boxer, and a car dealership brought a 550 that was for sale. Brian Jones brought his Alfa.

The Hart Collection's vintage Ferrari racing team transporter truck was one of the high points of show. That thing is so cool.

I forgot to bring my camera. Anyone have any pictures to post? Todd, Brian?
