As requested by a C&C regular, this Sunday's C&C will have a special contest feature. This Sunday will be ugly shirt day. Wear your most hideous, obnoxious-looking shirt to wow your fellow patrons. What are examples?

That flowered shirt your family cringes at every time you wear it in public.

The one you wore to the discos in the 70's when you were a dancing sex machine (Richie?).

What about that midriff exposing shirt you wore at the shore when
you were at your abdominal best -- wouldn't that look great today?

Or, how about a Seinfeld-inspired puffy shirt? However, please -- no R or X rated sayings or pictures -- we are a family-friendly crowd.

We will line up at 10 am and vote in some yet to be determined way (loudest applause?). You will win some yet to be determined fabulous prize. I will say that I have already seen one entry (described by the owner as "an authentic Versace shirt that looks like Versace threw up on a shirt"). The gauntlet has been laid down my friends. Bring 'em on!

One other serious request -- a few people have decided that laying rubber and roaring out of the parking lot is really impressive to the rest of us. In fact, it is not. I know your car is fast, we all do -- no need to put on a display for us. We'll take your word that your car makes a really loud noise and can go very fast -- no need to show us and the Chatham police. We are guests in Chatham and the merchants in the shopping center and the police have been very
supportive of us -- let's continue to act responsibly.
