Sounds perfect. See you guys then... Rick - After 30 years in Chat., I'm guessing you know exactly where 400 River Street is. I'll follow you!
Jerry can you call him today and let him know what's going on? I would love to see his car again. Rick
HAHAHAHA.... My wife just left me a voice mail at work that went something like, "OH MY GOD!!!!, I just saw a brand new red Ferrari down town. OH MY GOD. It was beautiful!" You may be able to tell......my wife has never been near a Ferrari. This is very new to her. I think she liked it....just a little anyway Seems some people are showing up a bit early.
For anyone in the Atlanta area who might want to travel up with me, I will wait at the weigh station on I-75 near Wade Green Road until 7:30 AM sharp.
ANY ONE FROM BIRMINGHAM LEAVING IN THE MORNING AND IF SO WHAT TIME, I'LL BE ON THE ROAD BY 6AM DARN TIME DIFFERENCE GOING TO GAS UP THE MIAM VICE SPECAL NOW. MIKE
I forgot that Chattanooga is on EASTERN time! I think Tommy is going up 59... that's better than the B'ham folks coming through Huntsville. I'll just see you up there unless I have another episode with my jaw (I just had a root canal done and not fully recovered yet).
Hi everyone, I am out of town until Sunday so I was going to give my cell number so if you all want to come see two of my cars (250pf coupe & 355 spyder) you can call me on Sunday and I can meet you so you all can see them. My cell# is 423-315-0696. Thanks Les
Thanks everyone for coming to the event. I had a great time. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. I hope that I will see you again at other events. Here are a few pics that I took. I would like to thank Greg and Mike for hosting a terrific event in Chattanooga. Great cars and great people and a great location. The catering and location for lunch were outstanding. We need to have more of these get togethers in Chattanooga, and Mike and greg did a wonderful job of organizing this one. Rich Becherer
I too would like to echo Rich's comments. Great time and great people(as usual). Im going to get with Crawford and set up a Nashville meet for the fall. Thanks again and best wishes to all. Rick English
Nice job all around! 12 great Ferraris, including two 365 GTC/4's, which is a rarity. (For those who weren't there, one left before the photos above were taken.) And a Porsche Carrera cabrio (996?) with a full family of 4 (plus dog). The venue was great, the bar-b-q lunch perfect, and the drive to the Ocoee Whitewater Center was fun for the 7 Ferraris (plus Porsche) that made the trip, though of course it would have been nicer if the traffic had been lighter. I had one of the kids from the Porsche along as passenger and he seemed to enjoy the ride, though of course he was always trying to get me to go faster and pass everybody! (What else would you expect from a 9-year-old?) I took an alternate route back, via Blue Ridge, Ellijay and Canton, and it was fast and trouble-free. But halfway back, it was just too hot to keep traveling with the car open, so I stopped, put on the roof and cranked up the (newly recharged) a/c, which was adequate if nothing more. I should have some of my pics up on Wednesday. Thanks to all who organized and participated. (Wish we had had more Atlanta-area cars, though.)
Beautiful pictures. That is a great spot in Chatt. for a pic. It's gonna rain here in south Fl. later and tomorrow.
Lane and I had a great time. That was the perfect spot to meet - in town, yet off the beaten path... Thanks so much Greg, Mike, and everbody else who helped out. I know these events require a lot of work, and you guys did an excellent job!! Nice Saturday event - but very hot. I still enjoyed it very much. Someone please post one of the pictures with all of us standing by the cars too.
I Had a great time this past weekend. I'll post some pics this weekend. Everyones cars looked great, I didn't expect that many cars to show up. Gary you need to start posting on here, it was great talking to you, let me know when you pick up that Gallardo I'd love to come check it out.
This was the first Club event I have been to and I would have to say that everyone there couldn't have been nicer. And Jerry, I will let you know as soon as I get the Gallardo. I would be more than happy to bring it down to Chatty and visit.
The first of my photos. It's interesting that among the 308s we had a "true" GTB, a "true" GTS, and Mike's interesting "GTS/B" (or maybe that's "GTB/S"?).
