I am a private pilot in the Greensboro NC area and trying to find any SLA for rental close to my home base. The nearest is Fantasy Air in Sanford NC, about 70 miles away. Does anyone have or know where I can rent a LSA at an airport close to Greensboro? I have had my private for over 25 years and had owned a Piper Cherokee at one time. But marriage, kids, work obligations have taken me away from flying as much as I want. I just want to be able to fly locally and get sharp again like the old days. If anyone can give me any ideas on where or how I could fly again (wet or dry rate), please let me know. I'm like a kid, still looking at every airplane that flies over everyday and wanting to be in the left seat aagin.

This FBO is structured very similar to the one I fly out of in Dallas. No LSA's, but wide selection. If you have flown newer 180 HP SP Skyhawks, especially the glass ones, they are addicitve. http://www.burlingtonaviation.com/default.htm

I don't have personal experience from either.

I pay $117 an hour wet for new Skyhawks w/G1000.
