I noticed that the price has been cheap recently and I haven't heard of any major issues with supply/refinement in the past few days, so why is it that so few gas stations across the GTA have any fuel available for purchase? It's been like this for about 2 days. Am I missing something here?

I don't believe that. I think that the price has dropped so fast, that many stations are putting off shipments because they are losing money.

I still can't believe how fast oil prices have plummeted. Its unbelievable to think that 3 months ago we were paying $1.40 a litre! Now the tables have turned, and the oil companies are facing some big problems. Many have invested billions in new developments, banking on the high price of oil. Now that the price has dropped, they must cancel, or cut back these projects because the profit has dissapeared.

You would think that if it was the weather's fault it would be common, I don't remember gas shortages when i was a kid. And as far as i know its been snowing in Canada during the winters for a loooonnnnggggg time.

It also seems to be taking a long time for other prices to come down. I remember reading how the price of everything was going up due to fuel/shipping costs, most noticeably being the price of groceries. What's their excuse now?!

Where was that? Regular gas is selling for that price....considering premium fuel is about $0.10 more per litre than 87 octane...
