have a 92 348 ts. where is the plug to scan codes on my car.
Unless your car is Euro-spec, then it may not have the push button to pull the codes. No Doubt's site has a good write-up on pulling the codes and what they mean: Ferrari 348
Thanks guys. Looking at my ECU there is no button, so it looks like I need to buy the cable and button. Can I just make something up for know. Can I just use a couple of wires and touch them together to act like a button? Just need these code to find where my issue is.
Somewhere in this forum is a writeup on how to put together a makeshift button for reading the codes. I don't think the factory cable with button is available anymore.
I got my cable and push button from "dantm", i guy here in the fchat forum. Contact him, he will probably build a cable for you. Works perfekt. As you already have the CEL bulbs, it's not a Euro spec car. Bertil
Just want to give you a little history. Sold my 360 spider, was looking for a Testarossa, found a great deal on a 348ts ss. So I bought it. I used to own a 94 348 spider and sold it a while back, so its not my first 348. This new one does need a little TLC but it is in great shape. Found a button and the connection wire and pulled the codes. I got a 4121 and a 1211. Both on 5-8 cel First the 1211 code has to do with the MAF's. I was going to clean it but I just read that they are self cleaning. 4121 has to do with cat temp. I will look into this one later on this week. For now I cleared the codes and see if the come back. They are both on 5-8 cel side. If I get them again I will do the side to side swap first. Then come back to you guys if I have any question. Good to be back in the Brother Hood.
