Hi, I was wondering if any of you have the time to swing by Scottsdale Ferrari and put eyeballs on this car for me:

Porsche 911 2dr Carrera Turbo Tiptronic | eBay

I'm not looking for an in-depth inspection. Just give it a look to see if it is a real car.

    TIA

I was there earlier today. I wish I would have known. If I make it up there again I'll let you know.

I'm only 14 but I will be in Scottsdale Wednesday through Tuesday of the next week. If you'd be interested in pictures I'd be more than happy to look.

I'm pretty close to the dealer, and usually drive by it on my way home from work most days. I can try to swing by either tomorrow or some time on Monday.

Any and all eyeballs will be great. I'm particularly interested in the condition of the driver's' seat. They are always hard to tell from pictures.

There are also some strange things in CarFax, such as the car goes from red to black. Then the title gets "reissued" at 47K. Finally, CarFax mentions "Convertible top operation checked" when the car (at least in the pictures) is clearly a coupe.

So if you have an eye for it, check for even gaps in the hood and doors and look down the side to see if you can see any wavy paint or other strange things.

Again, any input will be much appreciated.

Just got back from the dealership. The drivers seat had some decent wear on it, but I think some TLC could fix that. I'm not body panel expert, but I didn't see any gaps.

However, the drivers door has been previously keyed and very poorly repaired. It almost looks like someone just used red nail polish. I tried to get a pic of that, but the glare from the sun was making it difficult.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions or want me to drive it.

Thanks so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have learned the hard way to never trust pictures on eBay. Imagine that!

    Again, thanks for your help.
