Funny, I just saw this car on cardomain the other day.

 

That is one flashy engine bay...a bit overboard for my taste.

 

Way overdone!

What was he thinking?

 

It made me wonder if the next step was to drop a lexan window in the engine cover...

 

I quite like the mesh behind the front grill, i think it defines the grill well, just doesn't fit the rest of the car.

The engine bay is over done, but with a can of black paint you could fix that in seconds.

 

hmmm... reminds me of how Ferrari is doin things NOW. I think i'd have to see it in person to decide if I like it or not.

The engine looks OK, but I don't like the body kit.

 

I dont really like whats going on in the interior. Note he changed the hand brake, added arm rest, changed the shifting ball, and i dont like that huge pop out screen. and I definately don't like the red engine cover. The body kit can go. The tin can air intakes can go. Other than that, its a pretty sweet car

When I read of all of the "upgrades" I tought he got his ad mixed up for his 17 year old sons Honda (Ricer). The engine bay isn't too bad just not my tatse. The car overall is way overdone.

It reminds me of a yellow Hummer I saw several years ago: It had huge chrome rims including a chrome wheel on the back.

 

I'm not a fan of the winglets on the rocker panels, but otherwise, I like it! I think the guy spent a lot of time detailing that engine and it looks pretty cool. I may not have done it the same, but it looks MUCH better than my stock engine bay. I also like the carbon fiber pieces all over the place.

The one thing about the 355 that bugs me is that there is nothing special to see when you lift up the hood. The older Ferraris have tons to see when you open the hood, but on the 355, everything looks like black plastic except for the valve covers that you can only see very limitedly through a mesh of wires and plastic/metal covers.

 

Agreed, all the mods are too much on a 355.

It is just like kissing your cousin....You just don't do it !
