Only $76 for this 12ft x 8ft New Orleans flag that once flew in the Superdome!

One small problem though, I think the only place that it will fit in my house is on the ceiling of the living room! Oh well, it sure will make a great conversational piece

It is kind of cool how they kept the House of Bourbon flag as the base of the New Orleans flag, so under French, Spanish, and American rule the city kept basically the same flag. The white(or blue) field with the three fleur de lis. They used the white version and added the red bar and blue bar so it has the red white and blue for America.

Hey Ron!

I still can't believe that I got this monster at basically double the price of a measley 'regular' size flag.

Tonight I had the absurd thought of possibly turning it into a comforter for my bed


How things been? I think last time we chatted was 3+ months ago or thereabouts.

 

We are OK, I am in town every 7-10 days trying to find time for the 308 (things keep getting in the way, like work!). 355 is parked in Bham, trying to find time there as well!

I like the comforter idea....again, great find
