    yes, but it has the renowned Ferrari 350 CI engine with 2bbl carb. it also has the jeep 4wd!

    I am guessing the only thing Ferrari on this are the badges and horse ;)

    Is this THE Harrah "Jerrari"? It's hard to believe that someone else would graft a Ferrari front end onto a Jeep, but where did the Ferrari engine go, and why is the dashboard different from the Jerrari shown in R&T August 1971. Any experts out there who know the history of the REAL Jerrari? Is this it?

    This is one of two Jerraris made by Bill Harrah. It may have originally had a Ferrari engine in it, but I am not sure about that. As it is now, it is an interesting curiosity, nothing more.

    The other one is (was) in the National Auto Museum in Reno and it definitely has a Ferrari V12 in it, out of a 365 Gt 2+2 I believe. It also has a stock appearing Jeep front end, although the cowl area between the windshield and the back edge of the hood has been lengthened a few inches to accomodate the larger Ferrari engine. The sign on the car when I saw it in the museum a few years ago said that Harrah wanted a 4 wheel drive vehicle that could go a bit quicker than the stock Jeep on his trips to his ski house in Lake Tahoe, and the Jerrari was born. The engine apparently came out of a wrecked car.

    I might have some pictures of it somewhere.

    Now this second Jerrari would be fun to drive!

    The other Jerrari is the one with the cool engine; it's like a Ferrari with a Jeep body on it where this is more like a Jeep with a Ferrari front clip...

    What's the matter, you don't like cathedral engines? By the way, I believe the output is over 100K HP, and its a two stroke! Only the Japanese and Wakisha (SP?) are this crazy.

    This is the first Jerrari, which was created using the front end and motor of Harrah's wrecked 365 GT 2+2 (I believe the second Jerrari uses a 365 GTC/4 motor). The 365 motor is gone and has been replaced with what I believe is a Chevy 350. Personally, I think this would make an interesting around-town car and I was the high bidder on this auction for a while. The car is located here in So Cal and I still might drive over and have a look at it.
