Seriously, that's really cool. Makes you wonder if he has some promotional gig in the works, since it's a long way to travel even if they do have a 3-week break. It's cool that he took the time to say hi and take a photo.

I just got back from LA this weekend, and yes there is no shortage of money there. There are Exotics everywhere, driven by all ages of people. I even saw a "Cholo" driving a Lamborghini Gallardo.

I saw Master P in his Yellow Drophead RR Coupe with a brown top. Pretty nasty looking color combo but hey, its LA.

 

Very cool. If that was the UK he'd be getting mobbed. It looks like he can cruise around here without really even being noticed.

 

Aces Jason, that was a real fine 'find' away from the track! LH should have signed the glove box. Would have made an interesting surprise for the future owner of that SL63...

That is awesome. I was at Fletcher Jones MB the other day, and Lewis Hamilton had come in and signed an autograph and the Sales Manager was telling me what a very nice guy Lewis is.

He stated that he never bought that plate; something to the effect of too much attention and a ridiculous amount of $$ for the plate, and it was all a rumor.
Someone asked him this before one of the GP's a month or so ago...

 

You obviously haven't been out to LA! But I'd say it's limited to certain parts of LA, where as down here in OC it's a more common sight.

I'm glad to hear he is more of a real True English Gentleman. When I was at Laguna Seca for the MOTO GP race, I was working the Pit Wall, when Tom & Katie walked by I said Hello to Tom and he actually replied with a nice return and he put his hand out for the handshake. I also heard from someone else there that says Tom remembered who he was when he worked on one of the movie sets some years back. After all these years, Tom remembered the guys name. So, now to the point. There are some Celebs out there that will actually be nice if you not all stupid when you see them. Once again, Glad you got such an opportunity.

One of those moments in life you will always remember. Depsite the fact that he drives for Mercedes my impression of him (on Top Gear, during interviews, etc.) is that he seems to be a very level headed nice guy. Nice for him to stop, chat, and have a photo op with a fan.
