My 2001 360 Spider with 14K miles Check Suspension Light came on my 12 mile drive home. On the way to my dinner destination I hit a few pretty significant manhole covers at 35 mph. Once I turned the car off, it has not come on since.

Any thoughts on what it may be? Is it serious?

It is probably not serious. I have had similar experiences on my 430.

I had rather frequent suspension lights not associated with any bumps. While I was doing some work on the car and while I had all four wheels off, I cleaned the electrical connections to the dampers. No problems since.

Of course, your problem may be different, but this easy job is worth a try.

Probably nothing major. If it happens again then look into it.

    Could be:
    1) Bad connection as Mozella mentioned
    2) A suspension/angular motion sensor off in the engine compartment or under bumper.
