Check this F355 spider out - like the color?

Funny you should ask. My wife and I looked at this car and test drove it last fall when I was looking. Wasn't quite that shiny (engine bay) in the flesh. Really liked it except for the convertible. Really wanted a GTB or GTS (which I got!) Never really been a ragtop guy but the color and wheels attracted me. Not a red F car guy either. Car was very clean and drove well. Did have a nasty gouge in the windshield (dealer did point it out to me) Front bumper was resprayed.

This car has been for sale for quite awhile. Guess maybe I missed something when I looked at it. Glad I passed (I think!)

 

I really like that color and those rims -- but that engine bay is way to "slick" for me.

 

imagine it with the stock rims and a bordeaux interior, it would be perfection.

 

Griot's makes a product called undercarraige spray that leaves a finish like that if you don't wipe it down after spraying it on. I've used it before and it's almost overkill until you go back over it with a dry towel then it looks awesome.

 

Car is nice, but I am not the biggest fan of the colour.

Silicone spray will also give that engine bay a "wet look".

 

Umm, that's 355 hair gel. However, it is supposed to go in the 355 drivers hair not on the engine!

 

On my Porsche and BMW I use foaming tire spray in the engine bay, and i wipe off any excess, avoid spraying any electrical.(obviously)
(warning) Only do this with the engine cold .

 

Car has been there a long time color is Grigio Ingrid----color is spectacular in person, I saw a 456 painted this color a couple years ago

 

Did you see the custom wood floor mats? LOL

(just kidding) I love the wheels!

 

Mostly stuff like 'motor plast'. :-/ A cheap trick for better sales IMO. (Don't like the grease on the tires either)

A few miles later and the clear coat comes off in shards which is very ugly.
