It looks like, at least later in the importation of Boxers, the feds required the use of the octagonal wheel nuts as opposed to the wing nuts. I can understand if you don't want to post here for fear of deportation, but how many of you have winged nuts? Anybody switched their nuts to make their Boxers look better? Hey, at least I didn't title the thread "show me your nuts". Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Spinners were outlawed after the issue of Ben Hur with the scene between the gladiators, Feds nipped early road rage in the bud with that legislation...... It even effected hubcap design, IIRC. I never knew if the later cars could use the spinners and hammer..........
