    Why does the car disable throttle at approx 30 seconds of holding 4000rpm? 5 attemps to measure oil failed. Tried drive then neutral, drive around, restart.

    Has anyone had the same?

    Got the car to the dealer, and they assured me that Ferrari instructions are not to be followed precisely. 30 sec is supposedly also okay! They topped up 2l, checked it and was between MIN and MAX.

    Got home, checked as per instructions and it shows a little bit over MAX. Is this oil level safe to drive hard?

    A regular oil change is 14 quarts or so and there is always several quarts left behind. I would remove 2 quarts. Lower hurts nothing but overfill can be very bad.
