There was at LEAST one outspoken person that had no faith in this vehicle.

It has since been sold to the Factory. They spent the last few months getting it certified to their records and as of now its on display at the Factory Museum.

It was also being used at the factory for the launch of the Urus World Wide Event yesterday.

I am glad to have been single handedly involved in bringing this ICON back from a farm in "nowhere" Michigan to the Factory where it now belongs.

A fantastic memory and experience I will always remember. Image Unavailable, Please Login

So, in few words, how was Lambo actually related to the original Cheetah project? From what I encountered in your thread, it was likely the whole vehicle was US-built.

I'll bet that outspoken person feels silly now. Congrats Roy. Crazy to believe you've played a part in maintaining Lamborghini history. I'm sure Ferruccio would be proud.

    In a few words...

They brought it to a International show after paying sums of money for its development by an American Company.

    They basically "out sourced it"

From there, they just went further with their own work....

Thats how I look at it "in a few words"

  9. Thanks for clarifying.

Overall a great piece of Lamborghini history you brought back to the public. Being displayed at the Lamborghini museum now is wonderful.

It was a long and fun project.

Kudos need to go out to Steve at

    www.drivenexotics.com

He took the project from a basket case farm truck to the completion it is today...and so good a job that the factory approved and certified all of the work..that SAYS A LOT!

I photographed this at Tonino’s private museum in 2014. Where does it fit in the story (recreation)?
