I'm going to be in Chicago this coming weekend and was wondering if you guys would suggest some good dealerships to visit. I've been to the Ferrari/Maserati dealership in Hinsdale, Luxury Motors in Downers Grove and Gold Coast Bentley in Chicago. If time permits, I want to visit those places again, but was wondering if you guys could help me out with more places to visit??

    Thanks!!

Since you don't mention these places:

Lake Forest Sports Car, the other Ferrari dealer in Chicago
    http://www.lfsc.com/html/Ferari.cfm

    and Fox Valley Motors
    http://www.foxvalleymotorcars.com/index.html

Lake Forest moved and their new showroom is spectacular, a must see!

    Ruben,

As mentioned, I would think that LFSC, just from a visual standpoint would be the ideal place to visit. I would rate this the #1 place to visit but a close number 2 is... Fox Valley Motorcars. Fox Valley is obviously the Lambo place to go to for the entire midwest. Many Fchat and LamboChat people love to mention how friendly MikeFVM is. As you may have noticed on your first visit, Continental might be small, but the rep on them and their participation in local FOC/FCA shows is very encouraging. I met a few of the service/sales people and they are always saying how their door is open for a visit.

Luxury motors is a bit of a dark horse. They were key figures in a charity event this summer ( always a plus in my book, ) but the knock on them is pushy sales people and questionable cars. Their showroom is supposed to be second to none but the mumbles about how they act scare many people. Maybe you should check it out and give us an outsider's opinion.

Fox Valley had slipped my mind. I have been there a couple times looking around and taking pictures and the people where great! Didn't mind me hanging around taking pictures and always ready to answer a question.
Luxury Motors on the other hand.... I can't remember the salesmans name that we talked to, but he seemed like a good one. Answered all our questions and if he didn't know the answer he found someone that did and got us an answer. But as we were walking around I had glanced at a group of sale guys standing around and one of them looked at me like he was about to say "what the h*ll are you looking at." I didn't know what his problem was!!
I'm hoping I'll have the time to get to LFSC. By the looks of their website, it looks to be a pretty nice place.
Last time I was in the Chicago area I saw a billboard that had Maybach on it. Does anyone know where the Maybach dealer is.

    Thanks again.

Each to his own I suppose, but we had a Mayback at a recent car show. I was thoroughly unimpressed by this truck wrapped in leather. I just don't see the point.

    yup, that's the one

I took a lot of pictures that day, but couldn't get myself to take one of the Maybach. It is so unappealing to me, but many people there liked it.

It looks like a bloated s class. I wish they would have done something more with the styling... Motorwerks is your best bet to get a detailed look at the Maybach, as I believe they are Chicago's leading Benz dealer. Fox Valley had one and it wouldn't surprise me if most MB dealers in the area have one floating in their shop. But I am certain I heard that Motorwerks has sold the most in the Chi-town area.

I have gotten a ride in one. Its like a first class cabin and its fun to see the readouts in the roof and all the gadgets. I don't remember but the glass roof has some sort of function. The wheels are awful, the two tone paint kind of 1980s Lincoln-ish. Reclining/air conditioned seats and that huge engine up front really worth beyond 300K? I don't think so. I read in the latest EVO that MB has an S65 but have yet to see one, basically a rocket tuned AMG. To each his own, and this car is for the CEO who grew tired of the Roller being in the shop.

To me the Bentley GT is in the same class of the Maybach in: "what happed?" It looks like a VW Pheaton restyled into a couple branded with Bentley badges.

Definitely LFSC and Fox Valley. The great thing about Fox Valley,is that they never cease to amaze me with the broad array of beautiful Exotic Cars that they always have on hand. New Lambo's and Lotus',(Loti...?..:) ) Including those cute little Lotus "Go-Karts"...:) Ferraris of all Years,Models,etc...I've seen some nice older Countach's,Classic Corvette's, Pantera's....just about anything and everything.

And LFSC has an absolutely incredible New Showroom. Cars. Shop. Very Cool!

Well, I know it's been a couple weeks ago, but I did visit LFSCs while I was in Chicago. Everyone on here was right. It is a great place to visit if you ever have the chance and the guy I talked to was nice and answered all my questions. Here are some pictures I took while I was there:
