This is a re-post, from the 308/328 section (probably better suited here).

I was going to sell my 328 gts recently and after many discussions with my wife, decided to keep it. But, I've decided that it needs a light restoration. I would especially like to do a full interior leather, with new carpets. Does anyone know of a good place in the Illinois/Chicago/Northwest suburban area that has a good reputation? I was thinking of using GAHH seat covers with a matched roll of leather for the doors, tunnel, shelf and targa liner.

Also, I want to have all four wheels restored and was looking around, the only place I found (using the search feature here) was Wheel Wizards in GA, but really don't feel comfortable shipping them so far away, so local would be good also.

    Any recommendations would be great.

    Happy New Year & Thanks,

    Mike

Ogden Top and Trim is highly recommended and I believe does all the work for Continental. They are located in Berwyn, IL.

www.wheelsamerica.com is in Arlington Heights and is a local Chicago place that repairs or reconditions wheels.

I brought the Lambo to McCabe Auto in Vernon Hills/Libertyville over the summer and the result was beautiful. You're lucky as with the 308 Gahh carries it all pre made. We had to have everything made from scratch so it cost a lot more than I planned, but it was well worth it.
Have you considered doing it yourself? Dave Bendle did his a few years ago if I recall correctly and I don't think it was a big challenge. If you'd prefer to pay someone though I can't say enough about how nice ours came out.
They did everything, carpet, mousehair, door panels, console, seats..

Check with Gerry328 as he had his wheels redone in Chicago area and they turned out perfect.

Wheels done at Custom Cars Unlimited, interior at Ogden Top & Trim. Both highly recommended.

    Thanks a bunch everyone!!!

Gerry, did you have your interior completely redone by Ogden? If so, did you use any Gahh covers or have them do everything from scratch? Any photos?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I did not have the interior completely redone, just a small repair on the glove box lid and bolsters on the driver and passenger seats. They had a guy custom mix dye to match my faded leather. It turned our great.

John at Ogden Top & Trim and do anything. My suggestion is stop by and discuss your project with John.

I'm happy to sell you my aftermarket wheels. They came originally from GA. I'd make you a very good price since I don't want to have to ship them out either (I'm from Chicago):
