    Are there any Mondial T owners in the Naperville area who would be willing to allow my friend to sit in their car and potentially drive it. He and I are considering purchasing a 1991 Mondial T Cab together and his concern is whether or not he will be able to drive the car comfortably.

    He is 6'4" and recently sat in a T cab but did not know that there was a steering column adjustment. The steering wheel was hitting his left leg and he has reservations about buying the car until he can drive one and get comfortable with the car.
    Lake Forest has a T cab but lost the key. I hear that they had another key made but I think he'd like to see a car closer to the Naperville area if possible.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Fox Valley Motors/Lamborghini Chicago has a 1990 Mondial Cabriolet. (It was once owned by Goldie Hawn.) Check their website: www.foxvalleymotorcars.com They are right on North Av. (IL. RT.64) in West Chicago. Maybe a mile or so East of the DuPage County Airport and Pheasant Run. Close to Naperville. Check with them.

    They had the former Goldie Hawn Mondial which I test drove. It has been sold since I saw it.

    O.K. I just saw that it is still being shown 'For Sale' on their website. Maybe the sale didn't go through. They have had that car for a very long time. And I was just out there a few weeks ago and it was there. Give 'em a call and see. I'm sure they will let you take it out for a test drive.

    Other than that, can't help you. There aren't many Mondials around. I only know of 2 people that own them, and one of them lives in the Peoria area....Good Luck in your search.

    saw one in clarendon hills just last week. It was there for a little league game between teams from lemont and ch. No idea who owns it.
